Why Our Church

We are a church that believes in Jesus, loves God and people

Jesus established the church to publicly declare those who belong to him in order to give the world a display of the good news about himself (John 17:21, 23; Eph. 3:10). Every Christian should join a church because Scripture requires it. Jesus intends for his people to be marked out as a visible, public group, which means joining together in local churches.

CHURCH HISTORY

Christianity came into Nigeria in the 15th century through the efforts of Augustinian and Capuchin monks from Portugal. However, it was not until 1842 that Henry Townsend of the Church Missionary Society (CMS) sowed the seed of Anglicanism properly when he landed in Badagry from Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Date: Friday 20th September, 2019 Time: 5:00pm till 6:00pm. Please join us in prayers to decree and prophesy against governor El-Rufa's who has over step his bounds He has written through *KASUPDA to demolish our Cathedral. We are given seven days ultimatum to vacate the premises. Please let's come together to pray, that God will dismantle his plans and show Himself to be God on our behalf.
